Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2014
To help candidates of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination and other students plan well for their further studies and career pathways, the “Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2014” featured course information and enquiry services from post-secondary and vocational education institutions.
More than 30 exhibition booths provided information on locally-accredited post-secondary programmes not covered by the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS), the Yi Jin Diploma Programme and vocational education programmes, as well as the Qualifications Framework, the Information Portal for Accredited Post-secondary Programmes (iPASS), the Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP), the e-Navigator and the Concourse for Self-financing Post-secondary Education (Concourse). To assist students in acquiring information for further studies more easily and conveniently, a demo zone of the newly launched mobile website of Concourse was also set up in the venue. In addition, Hok Yau Club and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups offered advisory services to students. There were also talks on multiple study pathways and career planning for secondary school leavers.
