I am truly honoured to have been bestowed the Best Progress Award. Over the past three years, I have undergone a profound transformation.
During my first year in the college, my schoolwork was far from satisfactory and I got the lowest grades ever due to my indolence. I felt anxious and ashamed of myself. This wake-up call drove me to work hard for my future prospects.
Since then, I have made my studies a top priority, devoting greater effort to my assignments and striving to excel during my practical training at various schools. I have also discovered the value of setting incremental goals, which keeps me motivated and boosts my confidence. This strategy significantly bolsters long-term achievements, as evidenced by the steady improvement in my grades in each following term, and the progress, in turn, fuels my will to improve further.
Now in my third year, I am aware that my most accomplished chapter has yet to unfold. Reflecting on my academic journey thus far, I feel fortunate that I did not give up during the difficult moments, even when others cast doubt on me. I have learned that unwavering perseverance and diligence will finally pay off, though the path may not be swift or effortless. I will bear this in mind long after my school years.
I am deeply thankful to my school and teachers for their recognition. I will continue with my hard work in order to finish my education journey with no regrets.
