Best Progress Award

I am thrilled to have received the Best Progress Award.  I remember feeling upset and doubting my capabilities for a long time after receiving my DSE exam results, which did not turn out as well as I had hoped.  Despite this, I did not give up and worked even harder, looking for every possible means to improve my academic performance.  Over the past three years, I have been attentive in class, organised notes for consolidation of learning, and carefully read lecturers’ comments to learn from mistakes.  Winning this award came as a surprise and I felt proud to receive recognition for my persistent efforts.  I would like to thank my lecturers for their patience and excellent teaching, which helped me enter the discipline of my choice.  I am also deeply grateful to my family for their unwavering support, which has been a great motivation for me to strive for progress.  Without their constant encouragement, I would not have achieved such fruitful results in my studies.
