Number of scholarship places

Up to 200 local students enrolling in designated TPg programmes at the self-financing universities (including universities of applied sciences) per cohort will be awarded the scholarship.

Amount of scholarship

The maximum amount of scholarship will be $100,000 per eligible student for the entire programme regardless of the actual study period of the programme and mode of study.  If the amount of the tuition fee that the student has to actually pay for the programme (e.g. net of any private scholarship or subsidies for the purpose of offsetting tuition fee) is less than the cap, the scholarship amount will be adjusted downwards accordingly.  

The scholarship will only cover the tuition fees for the list of courses in relation to the prescribed graduation requirements of the designated programmes. The remaining balance arising from additional academic credits out of the prescribed graduation requirements and/ or for elective courses which are not on the programme course list should be borne by the students.
