Graduate of Higher Diploma in Business Management (Human Resources Management) (2015-2017), HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College (HPSHCC)
Advanced to Year 3, Bachelor of Business Administration, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)
This College has offered me various learning opportunities. I joined the Young Entrepreneur Scheme which provided me with an opportunity to apply marketing and business management knowledge in a real life situation. From preparing a proposal, sourcing the materials, to selling the products at the Lunar New Year Fair at Victoria Park, the whole experience was awesome.
Apart from studying, we have supportive lecturers and caring student counsellors who had played a part in enriching my college life at HPSHCC.

Graduate of Associate in Business (Human Resources Management) (2017) at Hong Kong Community College (HKCC)
Articulated into PolyU’s BBA (Honours) in Aviation Management and Logistics, Year 3
Without attaining 33222 in DSE, William could not enter university via the JUPAS route. He learned that HKCC boasts well-equipped campuses, so he applied for its Associate in Business (Human Resources Management) programme.
Economics subjects are compulsory in the Associate Degree Scheme in Business, but William performed unsatisfactorily in DSE Economics, so he had to make an all-out effort to overcome this challenge. “HKCC cares about the learning needs of students. Past exam papers are available in the libraries to help students do revision.”
A turning point in William’s studies was when he encountered Dr Ivy Chan, a senior lecturer who taught human resources subjects in the first semester, “Dr Chan illustrated her points with abundant international and local examples of human resources management. She also guided us in case studies and taught us how to apply theories and knowledge in a flexible manner.” William always consulted Dr Chan after class, which significantly improved his overall academic performance. He finally graduated with a good GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale.
William’s two years of colourful college life led to his increasing interest in logistics management, so he applied for PolyU’s BBA (Honours) in Aviation Management and Logistics and was offered a UGC-funded Senior Year Place for direct entry into the third year of the programme. This means he will be able to earn a UGC bachelor’s degree in four years after HKDSE – just like those who go the JUPAS route.

Graduate of Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Dispensing 2017 at Caritas Bianchi College of Careers
Pharmaceutical dispensing is a specialized subject which helps the society cope with the future population’s medical needs and add value to my career development. In Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC), workshops and laboratories are established in a realistic and simulated hospital setting for students’ learning. The school also provided us precious internship opportunities in public and private hospitals. These experiences are very useful to my future career. I have also received two scholarships from the College and the Government for my outstanding academic achievement. In addition to supporting my full year's tuition fee, the scholarships are the recognition of my hard work which made me feel so contented and inspired. I am so glad to see the success, life changes, and the progress that I have made after studying in CBCC.

“Looking back and recalling the memories in CCCU, it really was fruitful as I gained knowledge of the human resources industry when I was studying there,” said Sana. Sana feels that even as a student mentor in College taught her a lot of things and helped polish her personal and leadership skills for today’s workplace. After working for four years in the HR field, Sana feels great to be in a position to give back by providing job opportunities for CCCU students. “Recruiting the right people is my main job duty, and sometimes I also help organize recruitment talks with the colleges to promote our cooperation,” she said.

Graduate of Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Accounting and Banking (2015) at Chu Hai College of Higher Education
Currently work as a AIA Wealth Management Manager
When I was a freshman in the Accounting and Banking programme, I dreamed of becoming a financial controller in a multinational corporation. During my four years of undergraduate studies, I learned a lot of accounting and business knowledge. Upon graduation, I joined AIA through an internship programme.
I am grateful for what I learned and experienced at Chu Hai. Although there were some language barriers at the beginning, my teachers were always there to look after me and help me adapt to the new environment. This is where I learned how to treat people with warmth and sincerity.
I have been a Wealth Management Manager at AIA for more than two years. I have become one of the top 20 agents among the 14000 representatives in AIA Hong Kong & Macao in both 2016 and 2017. I am good at planning from my clients’ perspectives and thus developed a close relationship with them. I will always remember what I learned not only in classes but also from the culture of the College and my kind teachers.
